ALC é um suplemento relativamente novo, e apesar de estrutura semelhante a L-carnitina, promete resultados significamente diferentes. É um antioxidante que teria efeitos protetores ao cérebro e auxiliaria na liberação de testosterona (potencializando o LH). Ele é encontrado em "suplementos" como Xenadrine e Animal Stak. Porém esse efeito no aumento da testosterona endógena não é textualmente comprovado em estudos sérios...
